The new Hockey
Canada registration system works best with Firefox 3.0 or Internet
Explorer 7.0 or greater. Users of Internet Explorer 6.0 may
experience problems while attempting to pay their registration fees
by credit card. Hockey Canada has provided a “fix” or unique link.
To find out which version of Internet Explorer you have, open your
web browser and click on the “Help” menu and select “About Internet
Explorer” You may wish to upgrade your web browser to take advantage
of new features.

How to Register:
1. Since everyone is a new user, click on the
First time? Register now!
Link.
2. Enter your E-mail (this will also be your username), password,
and Security Question and Answer and click on the
Create User button to
begin the account creation process.
3. You will now be asked for your (parent or guardian)
Name,
Address, and
Contact information.
Click on the Continue
button when you are done.
4. The system will now bring you to the
Registration Area.
Here you could Register a
member, Change
your account information, and
Change your password.
5. Click on the Register a
member link to begin the Registration Process.
6. Read the Privacy Policy
and click on the Next
Button.
7. Enter the Registrant’s Name,
Date of Birth,
Language, and
Gender and click on the
Next button to
proceed to the Address Information Page.
8. Enter the Member’s Physical,
Mailing,
Father’s,
and
Mother’s address
AND e-mail address while clicking the
Next button after
each address is entered. You will then be brought to the Contact
Information Page.
9. You must enter a
valid Home
Phone Number and
E-mail for the Registrant before you can continue to
the Emergency Contact
Screen. The work,
cell,
pager, and
fax numbers are all
optional. Click on the
Next button to
continue.
10. Enter the Registrant’s
Emergency Contact Name and Contact information here and
click on Next
button to go to the Registration
section.
11. Select the Division displayed (IP-2005 for Paperweight/Tyke);
(House league Player or House league Goalie for all others)
12. Select the Package
displayed.
13. Click on the Next
button to proceed to the
Miscellaneous section
14. Read the Disclaimer, check off the
I agree checkbox if
you agree with the Disclaimer, and click on the
Next button to
proceed.
15. You must accept the Mississauga Codes of Conduct to continue.
16. You will have the option to pay either by
Credit Card,
Cheque or
Money Order.
a. There is no additional fee
when you pay by Credit Card: Fill out your credit
card details then click the
PROCEED WITH PAYMENT
button. Wait for your credit card
to be processed - DO NOT CLICK ANY BUTTONS UNTIL YOU SEE YOUR
RESPONSE. If your transaction is DECLINED, you may enter information
for another credit card or choose another form of payment. If
APPROVED, you will receive a printable receipt in the next step (you
are now done).
b. If payment by Cheque
or
Money Order
is chosen, print up the receipt produced by the system in the next
step and deliver it along with payment to your registrar.

17. The final step will give you the Option to
View the Printable Receipt,
Register someone else,
or just return to the Main
menu of the Registration System where you could see the a listing of
all of your Registrants.
ALL PLAYERS ARE NOT
OFFICIALLY ACCEPTED UNTIL NOTIFIED BY THE PORT CREDIT HOCKEY
ASSOCIATION.
PAYMENTS
Please make
cheques or Money Orders payable to: Port Credit Hockey Association.
Your cheques may be post-dated no later than August 1st,
2009. NSF cheques are subject to a $25.00 admin fee.

discounts will be applied automatically to all house league players

REFUND POLICY
No player releases nor refunds will be
granted prior to January 16th of the playing season. Any change to
that policy is at the sole discretion of the individual Association
with the minimum administration fee set at $75.
An administration
fee will be deducted from refunded House League or Paperweight fees
for any registration withdrawal or cancellation.
*No refund will be issued where a false statement is made during the
registration process (ie. a false address submitted by a
NON-RESIDENT of Mississauga). No refund will be issued if it is
determined that there has been an abuse of the Port Credit/Mhl’s
registration system. No refund will be given if a player has
registered with another hockey league other than the MHL.
